1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Veiled North online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

2. PRODUCTS
Veiled North sells tarot decks, divination mats and jewelry. Product descriptions, features and prices are shown on the relevant product pages. Please review these details before ordering. Our current collection does not include custom-made or personalized products.

3. PRICES AND PAYMENT
The total price of your order, including applicable taxes and shipping charges collected at checkout, is displayed before you confirm payment. Payment is processed using the payment methods available at checkout. Any additional import charges, where applicable and not already collected, will be disclosed as required by law.

4. ORDERS
You will receive an order confirmation by email after placing an order. If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we will contact you and offer an appropriate refund or other solution in accordance with applicable law.

5. WORLDWIDE SHIPPING
We ship worldwide. Estimated delivery typically takes approximately 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the destination and local delivery conditions. This is an average estimate, not a guaranteed delivery time. The delivery timeframe applicable to your order will be indicated before checkout. If a delivery deadline is not met, your rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

6. CANCELLATIONS AND WITHDRAWAL
Where French or EU consumer withdrawal rules apply, you generally have 14 days from the day you receive your order to change your mind without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, send a clear statement to contact@veiled-north.com within the 14-day period, identifying your order. You may also use the withdrawal form below. Return the products within 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal. Please contact us for return instructions. This does not affect your right to withdraw within the legal time limit.

For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping, unless the law requires otherwise. You may inspect a product as you would in a shop, but you may be responsible for any reduction in its value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Any statutory exceptions to withdrawal rights apply only where legally permitted.

7. REFUNDS
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, we will refund the payment received for the returned products and the original standard delivery charge, if any. Additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method are not refundable unless required by law.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first. Refunds are made using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a fee for the refund.

8. DAMAGED, INCORRECT OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If your item arrives damaged, is incorrect or does not conform to the order, contact contact@veiled-north.com. Please include your order number and, if possible, photos of the issue. We will offer the legally required remedy. You will not be charged return costs for products that are defective or non-conforming where the law places those costs on the seller.

Consumers entitled to French legal guarantees benefit, in particular, from the statutory guarantee of conformity, generally available for two years from delivery, and the legal warranty against hidden defects where applicable. These rights are separate from the 14-day withdrawal right.

9. CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND DISPUTES
For any question or complaint, email contact@veiled-north.com. We will seek an amicable resolution. Your rights to use legally available consumer dispute-resolution procedures and to bring a claim before a competent court remain unaffected.

10. APPLICABLE LAW
These terms are governed by French law. If you reside in another country, this does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections granted by the law that applies to you.
